Hidden walkway

Happenings | Just For Fun

Tucked away behind the bustling streets of Chinatown and Shenton Way, is a quiet and serene walkway... One would not expect such a walkway in a back alley, much less a covered one with balconies for rest.

Something you don't see everyday... Heavy duty air-conditioning...

Further along the walkway, is a power substation where several cats resided. Unlike their relatives from my previous adventure, these cats seem to be wary of the cat food that I'm offering them, rejecting my goodwill. However, being the nice guy that I am (ahem), I left them a heap of food at a corner... In a way, thanking them for the photo shoot. : )

Quite a safe distance from me and my cat food. This cat gamely posing for the photo.

Stunned by the sight of my camera. This cat unwillingly posed for my photo.

The leader of the pack... Ol' Ginger casting a sideway glance at me before darting into the shadows.

A cat's life... meeeow.

Cats have always been my favourite animals. If I can have my way next time, I'll rear tiger cubs or cats (heh heh). But the unfortunate thing about my household is that most living things end up dead - Lobsters, fish, plants, hermit crabs. Sigh. I began to treasure the cactus which outlived the others. I hope that it doesn't die too. At least not in the near future.

Cactus. The longest living non-human entity in my household.
