Time flies when you do not take notice of it... Its Chinese New Year in Singapore! And on the 2nd day of the Lunar New Year, Miss Fu I Yuan is once again on transit in Singapore! This time, she in en route to France to spend her holiday with her man, Mr Cedric. Oooooooooo....... Unfortunately, as it is the 2nd day of the new year, there is nothing to do as almost all of the shops have closed. Despite this, we still went to Chinatown as it is the place that is representative of the festival.

Us with the monkey.... Notice the missing arm on the monkey? I didn't tell you that she did it..... |
Although most of the shops were closed, we were lucky to find a coffee house that is open. There, we ordered the "five spices" with noodles. The lack of activity didn't mean that it was an uneventful day... Over dinner, a gentleman in his 50s, thinking that the 2 of us were an item, advised me to choose my future with caution. Later, as he began to talk of his past, we realized that he was from Taiwan and he had a loved one from Singapore. He had to make some decision during some revolution in his teens and he felt that it was a wrong move to come to Singapore... As he lamented about his past, we were quietly sniggering among ourselves... Well, at least he was entertaining.
As like the previous time, she had to leave. This time, the transit period was shorter, which was a blessing in disguise as there was nothing much to do. As she left, I realized something... She does look slimmer! hahaha.. : )
